This site belongs to S.C. Kincaid, author of The Aelf-King Sagas. This policy explains what is collected when you join the Chronicle or request a free legend, how that information is used, and the choices you have. The short version is simple. Your email is used to send you the stories and letters you asked for, and nothing else. It is never sold.
What is collected
When you enter your email address to request a free story or to join the Chronicle, that address is recorded along with which page you signed up from and which format you chose. No names, payment details, or other personal information are required to receive the free stories or the letters.
How it is stored
Sign-ups are stored securely with two service providers acting on my behalf. Addresses are held in a database hosted by Supabase, and they are synced to beehiiv, the service used to send the Chronicle letters and to deliver your free copy. Both providers keep the data on your behalf and are bound by their own privacy commitments.
How it is used
Your email address is used to deliver the free legend you requested, to send the Chronicle of Mercy, which is a series of letters from behind the Sagas, and to let you know when a new book in the trilogy is ready. That is the whole of it. Your address is never sold, rented, or shared for anyone else's marketing.
Leaving the list
Every letter carries an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click removes you, and no further letters are sent. You are welcome to come and go as you please. If you would rather be removed by hand, write to the address below and it will be done.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not run advertising trackers and does not build a profile of you across other websites. The pages load a small number of fonts and, on the reading pages, a link that unlocks your copy. Nothing on this site follows you once you leave it.
Children
The Sagas are written for grown readers, and this site is not directed at children under thirteen. If you believe a child has signed up, write to the address below and the record will be removed.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it, and the current version will always live here.
